The complex provides resources for football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, Taekwondo, Karate, swimming, and other martial arts for both male and female athletes. The administration is determined to expand these opportunities to benefit even more players.
These remarks were shared by the Complex Administrator, Abid Afridi, during the Under-16 and Under-17 trials for the Norway Street Child Football World Cup, while addressing journalists.
Abid Afridi stated that Hayatabad Sports Complex is ranked among the best in Pakistan. He expressed satisfaction that the complex is preferred over other sports grounds in Peshawar for football trials.
He further highlighted that the complex offers facilities of national and international standards, providing modern resources essential for training, fitness, and overall athlete development.
The administrator emphasized plans to expand the infrastructure to include additional sports, ensuring more youth have access to quality training opportunities. Special focus will also be given to promoting female athletes by enhancing their participation and skills development.
